A sudden heatwave has taken over LA and I've been forced to wear nothing but swimsuits and simple minidresses. Yesterday I wore my new 40's dress I found at Shareen Vintage (of course) and it couldn't have been more perfect for this 100-degree weather.
Also wearing Miu Miu patent pumps, Elizabeth and James sunglasses, and one of my favorite Coach clutches that I should definitely wear more often.
These sparkly earrings pinch my ears a little bit, but that's ok because they're so pretty.
Have any of you ever heard of the blog Oh She Glows? I'm not vegan but I recently discovered her blog and I'm so excited to try out some of her recipes!

I shared my bedroom with you all a few months ago, but I don't think I ever showed you my workspace. Here are some quick snapshots...
I spend a lot of time at my desk so it's important for it to be inspiring and most importantly, comfortable!
I wrapped a huge cotton blanket around a vintage leather chair... it's the best idea I've ever had.
A stash of jewelry by my computer...
I paint for fun and store my acrylic paints on the top of my desk... I think the colors look pretty.
Hope you enjoyed the post!

Floral Arrangements

I was just looking into my closet the other day and noticed how many floral prints I've acquired throughout these past few months... what can I say, I'll never resist a good flower print!
I love the shape of this bell skirt- it's quilted and has hidden pockets in the front. Who doesn't love discovering pockets they never knew they had?
Worn with striped tee from Men's Zara, Miu Miu nude patent pumps, and Clara Kasavina ring.

Corner Coffee Shop

Last Sunday I took a trip to the Rose Bowl flea market for the very first time. It was so overwhelming, but I'm so happy I was to find the furniture pieces I had been looking for. While walking around and dying in the scorching heat, I found a vendor who was selling a bunch of vintage clothes for half off. I ended up finding this beautiful taffeta skirt and a blog reader who I met there said it suited me well!
These earrings were found at an antique mall, I absolutely love them!
Worn with American Apparel leotard, Elizabeth and James sunglasses, and Giuseppe Zanotti ankle boots.

The Little Red Jacket

This Jeanne Marc jacket is probably one of my most favorite things in my closet. Turquoise and red is such a perfect color combination, don't you think? I wore this outfit out and about town yesterday. Wearing J.crew tank, vintage Levi 501s, Lanvin platform sandals, and brass cuff I found at the flea market.

Just a White Shirt

I have been running around all week trying to get our place together (will definitely share it with you all when it's ready), so it was nice to do absolutely nothing yesterday.
I wore a men's J.crew shirt, Zara navy trousers, vintage glass necklace and bracelets, Coach snakeskin clutch, and Chloe sandals.
Hope you guys had a spectacular weekend!

Purple Flowers

As you can probably tell from following my blog, I have a weakness for white dresses. This is another one of my favorites which I think is perfect for Sunday brunches!
I always thought dresses that hit at the ankle looked awkward on me, but lately I kind of like this new length. I am wearing Donna Karan suede pumps, antique metal clutch, and vintage rings.
