Chain Heavy

I am finally debuting the shoes I posted about a couple weeks back! They are so pretty to look at, but I definitely had some trouble walking... although I think it was the pencil skirt that made me waddle kind of funny.
Wearing a vintage Ungaro skirt that I found on Ebay, an American Apparel striped sweater, 70s Erwin Pearl necklace,  Balenciaga sunglasses, my favorite Coach clutch, and Christian Louboutins.
This clock necklace is such a statement piece. Flava Flav!!!
Hope you all had a nice Easter sunday!

Jeanne Marc

Yesterday I wore a vintage Jeanne Marc jacket from Shareen's to brunch. I love the details of this jacket- quilted ripples on the fabric, huge brass buttons, and turquoise polka dot's perfect!
Jeanne Marc was such a fun designer- I love all the over-the-top quilted boleros and jackets they did back in the late 70s, early 80s...
Worn with Herff Christiansen tank, gray H&M skirt from a couple years ago, vintage turquoise rings, and Chloe bow sandals (which I am in love with).

Rainbow Brite

I wore this dress for a couple hours back in November when I was in New York, but ended up changing because it was too cold. The weather was really nice today so I thought I'd bring it out of my closet!
This dress fits me perfectly! The only small issue is that it sometimes constricts my lungs which leads to shortage of breath, but that's ok I don't really mind, who needs to breathe anyway?
Worn with antique earrings and bracelet, Roberto Cavalli snake cuff, Super sunglasses, old Moschino belt, and Givenchy strappy sandals.

Take care guys!

Filmed a fun little video back in January and it's finally here! The video was shot at our houses and on Venice Beach for their upcoming Spring collection alongside Natalie, Caylee,  Olivia, and Jazzi. I'll  also be guest-blogging for Olsenboye so you can check that out as well!

Laid Back

As much as I really love wearing sparkly girly dresses and seven-inch platforms, I think sometimes you got to bring it down a notch...that doesn't mean you'll see me wearing flat shoes though (that's reserved for Sunday nights only)!
Wearing a stack of vintage lucite bangles that I found on Ebay, J.Crew white toothpick jeans, denim shirt from a thrift store, Lanvin platform sandals, and python clutch by Coach.

The Shoes

I've always been a fan of Christian Louboutin, but for some reason I've never had the courage to purchase a pair of his shoes. The other day in between appointments, I took a quick stop at one of the shoe boutiques in the area and found these beautiful mary jane pumps. I left the store without them and for an entire week, as bad as this sounds, I couldn't get them out of my head! Anyway, they are finally mine and I kind of don't want to wear them because they're so perfect...

Magic School Bus

This another find from Shareen's Vintage. It's a vintage Neiman Marcus dress, but I wore it as a vest to lunch yesterday.  Maybe in the summertime (when I have tan skin), I'll make it into a short dress!
Worn with an American Apparel striped tank, J. Brand jeans Maria jeans (they hug the body so good), Karen Walker sunglasses, vintage jewelry, Robert Cavalli snake cuff, and YSL platforms
Also two things... 1) I found a pair of shoes yesterday that I cannot wait to show you all! 2) Updating later today with some fun pieces so check it out if you want!

Inspiration Board

I used to make inspiration boards a lot when I first started my blog and I'm not quite sure why I quit doing them, I love making them!
This is everything I'm into at the moment: vintage Christian Dior, Marisa Berenson on the beach, butterfly-print dresses, Noten Lyppens lucite 50s bag, Dries Van Noten beaded cuffs, The Supremes, yellow and stripes, a Balenciaga editorial from a couple years ago, anything that sparkles, Tabitha Simmons, and tribal prints.
