Scandalous Shoes

Photobucket

For some odd reason I've been showing a lot of leg lately. These shoes are my
new favorites for two reasons: A) They're super comfortable and B) They remind me those Louis Vuitton sandals Emmanuelle Alt wore not too long ago.

I woke up quite early this morning because I had a lot to do. Basically this is my  running-errands-and-being-comfortable-yet-somewhat-put-together outfit.

Sundays have always been my favorite day of the week. This sunday however wasn't so great considering my beloved boyfriend is out of state playing basketball. I miss you gabriel.
Anyways, these obnoxious blue shoes were definitely a beneficial purchase. A. They're super comfortable and B. They add a sort of random popping electric kind of beautifulness to an otherwise quite simple outfit. Quirky shoes are a definite must.

Brightnesssss

Photobucket

I used to be the type of girl to wear blacks, whites, navys, and the occasional red. Although Spring is practically over, I'm still extremely galvanized over the season's bright color trend. I now enjoy wearing my neutrals colors with touches of cobalt blue or neon yellow. mmm mm good!

The Short Spring Skirt

Almost every morning I wake up at the butt crack of dawn to take the Metrolink to Downtown LA to FIDM. Apparently I'm an idiot and I always decide to wear the most inappropriate outfits to school. I was out the door with this particular ensemble when I realized I'd freeze, so I added tights and boots instead. My purpose was to keep partially warm, not so much to look "totally fashionable". Then I arrived at school and I was able to change back into my initial outfit.
Oh and also, in case you can't see, my precious knee is still a bit swollen. BARF ME. One more thing...it is obvious i am in desperate need of some sort of tan...

It's Raining Shoes

There are certain things in life I tend to obsess over. One being, the obvious, yes, SHOES. If I were a multi-millionaire I'd probably spend my free time making regular trips to Saks (because they have an absurd amount of sexy heels that I would die for) or perhaps I'd just start my own shoe line which would consist of six inch stilettos and lusty platforms.
In the past few months I was deprived of my lovely shoe collection due to having surgery on my knee. It was hell considering I have only a few pairs of flat shoes and I'm 5'5 and that clearly qualifies as shortness in my book. Anyways, I  am now back into the swing of things and I'm ready to conquer the world in my tallest, most enticing shoes I own. Get ready world.

PS. Did you know the Greek were the first to rock the platform heels? They were called the cothruni and were worn in order to look "larger than life" in grecian plays.
